An Overall Story | How to wear Overalls in 6 different ways.

Hey guys ! I've been working on this post from a long time, because I wanted to buy an overalls for myself, before I actually tell you guys how to style it. Yesterday I got these cute overalls from Miss Bennett London for JABONG.

But I must tell you guys that it is really hard to find overalls in Indian shopping websites, SO as soon as I saw them - I knew I was going to get them.

 LOOK #1

Wear your overalls with a buttoned up blouse to give it more sophistication. Put on your strappy sandals and some aviators to look chic.

Tip: Choose adult accessories like heels over sneakers to avoid looking like a toddler.

LOOK  #2

Pair your overalls with a crop top and tie a jacket around your waist to give the outfit a retro look. Wear your ballet flats and minimal gold jewelry. Add a satchel to finish the look.

Tip: Make sure the top and the jacket are of different colors to give your outfit some contrast. 

Look #3

This look is similar to the #2 look. Remove the jacket from your waist and wear it on. Wear some pointy pumps and add a neutral clutch.

Tip: Pointy pumps give a hint of sophistication to the whole look.

Look  #4

Stripes will ALWAYS work with overalls. Pair your overalls with a striped tee and add a crossbody.

Wear some gladiator flats to instantly look chic. 

Tip: If you think the overalls is too short for you,wear a crossbody to balance out the shortness.

Look #5

Pair your overalls with a white tee because it will never fail you. Add some strappy sandals and you're good to go. 

Look #6

Pair your overalls with a longer jacket to make them look like pants or shorts. This makes the overalls look much more dressier.

Tip: Wear your overalls with lace top or a more dressier top, to give the masculine fit of the overalls a feminine touch.

Tip: Loosen a strap to a create more relaxed look.

Summer Basics

Hey guys ! Summer is in full bloom and Chennai is hot hot hot. If we could, we will wear bikini all day everyday, right girls? But obviously and unfortunately we can't be walking around naked during summer so,

All it takes is a couple of basics and keys items for the summer to look chic.

Summer fashion is all about keeping it easy and breezy and getting the most out of your accessories.So here are some of  the summer basics, which I think you guys should have in your closet.

#1   Floral suits/Jackets

Florals are perfect for summer. You can wear it during the day with a white tee and a pair of sandals.
Also matching print top and bottoms are perfect versatile pieces because they work great together or separately. Pair the bottoms with a solid tee and the blazer with shorts or a pair of skinny jeans.

#2  White Blouse

You can wear this piece all year around but what I love the most about this is that it is very lightweight, breathable and airy as well as looks so professional. It is perfect to wear for work.

#3  Maxi skirt

This specific skirt is super cute and very comfortable. It's a little bit of mini skirt on one side and other is the maxi part. Pair it with a graphic tee to turn this glamorous skirt into a day time look. Adding a maxi skirt to a graphic tee gives it a feminine touch.

#4  Linen pants

Wearing long pants during summer would possibly be the worst thing in the world but with Linen pants it;s a whole different story. They're again lightweight and airy and also are more basic for a more casual look. Wear these if you want to be more covered up while staying cool. Okay, this one is like SO cute. Last time I saw one was from NEW LOOK or RIVER ISLAND and was so expensive. But this one is so affordable and BTW i already ordered one for myself. YAY. These are so trendy and again cute.

1 Blouse, 3 Ways

Hey guys ! So as summer is here, I've been transitioning my wardrobe for the same, like you guys. So I thought this would be the perfect time to do this post. The White Blouse is such a staple in every wardrobe. You're always summer-ready with a white blouse and shorts.

So in this post I'm going to give you 3 simple ways in which you can style your White Blouse.


LOOK 1

In this look you can wear your blouse with a pair of little distressed light washed denims and a boyfriend blazer.
Buttoning up the blouse to the top and the men's blazer will give a modern and polished look.
Also the crisp collar will frame your face making it the center of attraction. Add stilettos and clutch to finish the look.

LOOK 2


This look has your blouse paired with a lace pencil skirt which gives you a sophisticated and feminine look. Leave your blouse unbuttoned for more relaxed look. Add minimal jewelry and strappy sandals to finish the look.

LOOK 3


I've tried to give this look a different touch. You can use your blouse as a layering piece and wear it under your dresses and overalls. Also you can edge up the look by pairing the simple blouse by pairing it up with materials like leather. Add a cross body and any shoes of your liking to finish the look.

Ways to look taller | Not-so-Obvious ways

Heyy guys ! This post is something I would have searched for, it is WAYS TO LOOK TALLER! Though we don’t have much options for growing taller, but there are some tricks with which you can definitely look taller.

Okay to start off, I’m gonna give you guys the most obvious one and of course the favorite,

#1 SHOES.
My pick to wear like all year long is NUDE BOOTS. Actually NUDE SHOES can elongate your legs by creating a monochromatic look. The important trick in finding the nude boots is finding the color which is very similar to your actual skin color. It should not have to be exactly the same, can be a little lighter or a shade darker but it should be very comparable. But if you don’t like nude shoes and like BLACK SHOES, then make sure to stick to shoes which have pointed toes. POINTY SHOES are a good choice because it elongates the leg and adds an inch or two extra.

#2 STRIPES, VERTICAL STRIPES.

This trick is similar to making everyone focus on something you want them to. Vertical stripes will draw the eye up. If you don’t like wearing fully striped pants, you can always have a pant with a single stripe on the sides which can also do work because it just enough to do the job of stripes.

#3 HAIR UP

Tying your hair up, will help you show another long line you have, your NECK. So tie off your hair up and show off that neckline.If you’re shorter then a lot of hair can actually shorten your height, so you can throw your hair in a top knot, which would actually add two to three inches easily. :D

4. MAXI DRESS

Okay, these are not only so great for summer as they are easy and breezy but also creates one longing line. Especially if it is in a monochromatic look and if there a big slit then even BETTER ! Show off as much leg as you want.

5. PROPORTIONS 

It is so important to know your proportions and dress accordingly. HIGH WAISTED WIDE LEG PANTS work for all body types and makes your legs appear longer. High waisted pants gives the delusion that your legs start from above your hips.

6.  The ultimate way of looking taller is wearing your WIDE LEG PANTS withHIGH HEELS. What actually happens is that the pants cover the heels and it instantly adds two to whatever your heel size is to your height. Now from the top of your pants to the heels everything looks like your legs.
TIP: Pants have to cover the heels.

7.  MONOCHROME

It can be an all black outfit or all white outfit or any other color, it doesn’t matter but has to be the same tone and color. It’s like creating a long vertical line which is never ending. :D

8. CHOKERS

This one could be a bit tricky as there can be good ones as well as bad ones. So go for thin chokers that sit right on your collarbone which keeps the eyes up.

9. SHORTS or MINIS

I know these are the most obvious, but you would need to balance it off with a longer top or something a little dressier. A black bodycon mini is always in style and every woman so should have one as it really accentuates the body. Minis are a must !

10. EMBELLISHMENTS

Draw the eye upwards to your neck which is most feminine area by adding an embellished necklace or top. Don’t be afraid to try embellishments as they can accentuate your look and body.

February Favorites ❤

Heyyy guys ! I'm so sorry I was not able to post anything for the past week. I've been so busy with my final year project. OFFO!

Now i'm back to giving you posts. :D

Today's post is going to be about my FEBRUARY FAVORITES. This post will contain all the stuffs that I totally loved this February and I've been using a lot.

1. Livon Moroccan Silk Serum

Okay, I love this like I don't know, too much. I got this in my February FabBag and I'm so in love with this product. It makes my curls so freaking soft. I use like 3 pumps on my hair and my hair feels the best. I think this one is my favorite for every month.

2. Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

I have not used much of gel eyeliner before, because I'm like always late and rush up my eyeliner so I mostly have been using liquid eyeliner. Trust me it is best when you're in a hurry. But this gel eyeliner has really good consistency and I was able to apply it properly eventhough I barely have any experience in using gel liners. If you're spending time on your eyes, you will love this product. I know I do ❤

3. L'occitane's Immortelle Precious Youth Serum

OMG. Trust me this product is some heavenly product I've ever used. It just instantaneously makes your skin so effing soft. Softer than a baby's bottom. Swear. It makes my skin feel so good and gives a rejuvenating efffect.

This is one of my favorite products from my daily routine.

4. Miss Selfridge Glitter Bardot top.

I bought this for my Valentine's day dinner from Jabong. OMG. They had these on sale just for Rs. 1200 i think. You must have seen this in my Valentine's day edit. I loved this top because it had a nice night look to it. It was my favorite February purchase.

5. Body Fantasies Exotic musk fantasy

I just can't leave home without this. This is my staple body mist, it has the best fragrance and leaves you smelling like really good all day long, YES all day long ! I loveee thiss !!!

6.  Schwarzkopf Professional Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner

Now, Spray conditioner is very important after shower. I love this one because it stays longer and leaves this hair soft all day long. I have felt a lot of difference in my hair after I started using this. 

I totally love it.

7. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's Valentine's day special menu

I only had Killing me softly and Cupid's Roll. I loved both. I actually loved the names more :P

Their menu included Killing Me Softly, Cupid’s Roll ,Caramel Macchiato , Casablanca and Sweet Valentine.

8. Superwoman

Okay, I don't know why I just kept watching all her videos this February. She is awesome. All my friends love her and you should check her channel out if you have not. She is amazingly hilarious. I LOVE HER ❤
