Swimsuits | Do you have the right one ?

If you guys have been following me for long, you must be knowing that I'm more on the plumpy side and that If I could I would never wear a swimsuit till I'm actually confident to pull one off. And it is hard to feel confident when all your mind can focus on is the flaws.

So this post is to help you get not only the perfect swimsuit that flatters your body but also confidence and grace to rock your body this summer,

#1 Straight Body type

If you ladies have a straight up and down body type, meaning the distance from your shoulders and the widest part of your hips are the same then you are probably a straight body type (or “rectangle/ruler.”) An underwire one piece is perfect in highlighting your body and giving you the curves you want.

Tip: Contrasting colors can create an illusion of a smaller waist and a fuller bottom.

#2 Athletic Body Type

If you the widest part of your body is your shoulders and you have a smaller bottom half you
most likely have an athletic body type.
Sometimes, it is hard finding tops that fit since your shoulders are so much wider than your chest and waist.
The triangle cut of a halter will work great in narrowing the shoulders and gathering attention to the
small midsection.
You girls can also opt for bikini tops that have the racerback shape in the front,
where the arm holes create a C shape so that it highlights your shoulders!

Tip : Don't go for straight-across bandeaus, boy-cut briefs or shapeless full-pieces,
as this will only enhance your athletic figure.

#3 Curvy Body Type

I feel like a lot of times curvy girls are afraid to show off their body when it comes to swimwear,
but much like Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, the trend now is to highlight these features!
I love how the halter one piece highlights the curves and yet the print can also soften your curves.
Also not to mention, the plunging neckline will look super sexy on you!

I know that it's quite nervous to strip down to a bathing suit for the beach but getting the perfect swimsuit
can make a whole lot of difference. I hope this helped you guys.
But it all comes to how you rock your swimsuit.

The power of a Masculine Jacket | Feminize the Jacket

Sometimes when I go shopping genre just does not matter. Even though the tag says for men or a 60 year old, if I like it I buy it. And I wear it and I'm happy. I think that's what matters the most when you buy something for yourself. Remember to ask yourself "whether you love it or not" ?

Trust me, it does not take much effort and time to change a boxy men's shirt into a light summer jacket. Have you ever felt too feminine in a dress and wanted to edge it up a little ? The solution lies within your boyfriend's closet in one of his shirts.

Wear it anything and everything which you feel is too cute for you. Edging up an outfit can be done as you please, throw the jacket around your waist or shoulders it will make you look edgy as well as chic.

Some heels and a crossbody will give more of a chic quotient to the outfit.

Don't be afraid to take out that leather jacket from the men's closet as it will be more breathable and will give that casual chic feel to your look.

Also make sure your boyfriend is not wearing the same on that day, though it works from menswear to womenswear, it rarely works out reversely.( if it does, do tell the world about it!)

Do share and, stay chic

How to shop for clothes wisely !

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Sometimes shopping can be overwhelming, confusing and time-consuming. So it is essential to follow some easy tips and tricks to make sure you shop efficiently and wisely.
These are some of the tips that I follow while I go shopping which makes my life much simpler.

#1 Only buy what you want !

This is something which even I always tell myself, because when I'm at a store, shopping - it's like I'm a hungry kid at a grocery store. I go insane. I know it happens to everyone, you end up buying so many clothes, accessories which you might not need or maybe which you already have in your wardrobe. Make a list of what you want in your wardrobe and search for them when you go shopping.
Tip: What I do is, when I see something in a magazine or Pinterest that I want, I make sure I write it down somewhere along with the detailing I need and it helps me when I go shopping. (BTW, this actually works! Try it yourself)

#2 Buy your colors

This might seem confusing to some of you. But this is the best way in which you can buy the right clothes and colors for you. Knowing your color tones is very essential as this will make shopping easier and better. If you're warmer then go for warmer tones like orange, yellow, red and if you're cooler then go for colors like blue, turquoise, green.
Tip: Simplest way to find out whether you're warm or cool is asking yourself which jewelry suits you best. Gold? Warm. Silver? Cold.  (Also if the color of your veins are green then WARM, blue then COOL)

#3 QUALITY is everything.

Sometimes you think that by buying cheaper clothes you're saving money but it does not work like that. Later you might end up spending lot more in the future for the same products. Make sure you buy really good quality products when it comes to essentials like denims, tees and all wardrobe essentials. If you're paying more for it, make it worth it.
Tip: Don't hesitate to pull in between shirt or jacket lining to make sure they're properly stitched.

#4 Ask yourself "Do I LOVE it?"

If you love it then just buy it. If you don't then don't ! This will make shopping very much easier.
I've a small wardrobe and this makes me try and match to create more outfits. Always make sure you buy clothes that you will wear and just not another item with the price tag hanging in your closet. Don't buy clothes or accessories just because they're in trend, buy them only if you're comfortable in them and especially only if you love them.
Hope this post helped you guys in some way or the other, do let me know in the comments about your shopping tips as I would love to learn from you guys too.
