Tips | How to wear stripes

Stripes is a must have in every girl's wardrobe because they are so versatile and timeless. But I must say, stripes are tricky and might not compliment every body type. Speaking of prints, you must always have one striped piece in your closet because it's such a sophisticated and staple pattern.

Tip: Always go for vertical stripes.

Here are 3 ways in which you can incorporate stripes in your closet and I've been totally crushing on these,

#1 Striped trench coats/Blazers
Light weight coats make such a versatile piece that you wear this for any setting. It would be great for lunch or for work. Wear it with any neutral pieces, on the top of mind it would be a white top with pencil skirt. Perfect.
Vertical thin stripes will compliment every body type and is a great wear for work.

I totally love how this jumpsuit looks. I love everything about this jumpsuit. The plunging neckline might get too bold for many of you guys. But it is perfect of Sunday brunch or date.
Tip: For Petite girls, this one will help you elongate your legs, also the thin stripes add for more length.

#3 Striped matching sets
They're so effortless and so chic. Matching sets can be tricky because they can easily come off as too cheesy, but I absolutely adore this! Such silhouettes can be completely flattering.

Will you take your chance to treat yourself with something bold this season ? Which one is your favorite?

Must try trends | Culottes

There is a new silhouette in town on which everyone is obsessing, Culottes. Though being the season's biggest pants trend. some might be pretty intimidated by these pants shape. Even I thought  that this could be ultra unflattering.

But let's take a moment to appreciate these pants, they are so comfortable and the right culottes can be as elegant as a maxi.
Tip: Length is everything, wrong length can easily shorten your frame.

#1
I love these blush pink culottes as it can be worn both casually or for work. You can style these with a more dressier button up or top and strappy heels for more chic and classic look. Also as these pants are more flowy make sure to tuck your top in to avoid looking droopy.
Tip: Wearing heels can really help elongate your legs.

#2
I just adore these pair of culottes. They are such a spring piece. These pair are already casual so to avoid looking more casual pair it with a white tee or tank top and a blush/nude leather jacket. Also these pants are already doing all the talking, nude pointy pumps would help you complete the look.

Culottes : Asos

#3
These are the ones that everybody is been loving. They are so simple and chic. Also not to mention that these are more structured and tailored pairs. These are perfect for petite girls as these end just below the knees.
Tip: Always pair culottes with heels.
Which of these are you guys going to try this season?

70's inspired looks | Spring/Summer Lookbook

Hey guys ! One of my favorite fashion eras was the 1970's so this post is going to be a look book inspiring the 70's chic in you. It's been a while I wanted to do this post and recently when I saw Masoom Minawala from Stylefiestadiaries wear bootleg jeans, in which she looked wonderful, I really wanted to create a lookbook for you guys on how to rock some of my favorite 70's inspired trend this summer.

LOOK #1

Modernized a loud bell bottom with a classic button up and a structured vest.

Tip: Define your waist by adding a vest which hits just above the hips.

Although they're a little intimidating don't be afraid of flared jeans because they've an easy-going vibe and of course elongates the legs.

LOOK #2

Streamline a graphic print by pairing it with a neutral color like black.

Suede is a cool texture to experiment and also a crucial 70's trend so try incorporating it by wearing boots, midcalf or thigh high.

Knee high boots paired with mini skirts will give a beautiful ensemble and the combination reveals the right amount of skin for a look which is sultry yet understated.

LOOK #3

Jumpsuits are one of my favorite things to wear. Wearing jumpsuits does not have to be that hard, wearing a one with vertical stripes will give the illusion of height. So complete the look with a felt hat to add a western flare.

Hope you guys liked this post. And tell me what your favorite fashion era was and maybe I'll do a post on it.

Boots | For different heights and bodytype

Hey guys ! It has been a very busy week for me, with all the project submissions and all. So this post took me a week.
Sometime back I was running through my Instagram feed and saw a gorgeous pair of heels from J.Crew and they were absolutely stunning. I have always thought that boots can be a girl's bestfriend and can be worn all around the year, especially if they are the right fit for the height and bodytype.

So this post is going to help all you girls of different heights and bodytypes to rock your favorite boots this season -

#PETITE / Ankle boots

It is a common misconception that short and petite girls cannot wear ankle boots however they definitely can.

Always keep in mind to wear boots that have stack heels and also keep it simple by avoiding any buckles or straps. These kinda boots work for petite girls because the stack heel balances out the curvy figure. And obviously a stacked heel is much more comfortable than a stiletto.

#MEDIUM HEIGHT / Knee high boots

Knee high boots can be worn by different heights as long as you style them to elongate your legs instead of cutting them off.

Tip: Find the pair of boots that fits your legs perfectly.

Make sure that taller boots don't go any higher than slightly above the knee because you don't want any boots to cover you full legs. Pairing them with black pants will make your legs look longer than they actually are.
Even if they're thigh high or knee high, the key thing is to keep it monochromatic.

Tip: Add a girly silhouette like peplum or a flowy top to soften this look.

#MEDIUM HEIGHT / Ankle boots

Besides tall boots, ankle boots are also great for girls with medium height. There are a few things that you need to remember to make it work.

Make sure the boots sit right at or below your ankle to avoid cutting off the leg length and also make sure the shoe is pointy to help elongate and streamline the legs.
With the right pair of boots, you can either wear it with skirts or jeans.

#TALL / Mid Calf boots

The mid calf boots are hard to pull off but done appropriately it is a very flattering look. To elongate your look even more, and this tip works for  all bodytype, pair your boots with the color of pants you're wearing.
In this way you can streamline the whole look.

It is all about proportions, you have to stay away from anything that will cut off your leg length such as mid length skirts rather work with mini skirts or a pair of pants.

Boots can work for any type of girl, close attention to details and few tip and tricks will really go a long way. Don't be afraid to try out different styles but keep in mind these easy steps to pulling them off. Comment below your favorite type of boots.

Love you guys.
