How to shop for clothes wisely !

Sometimes shopping can be overwhelming, confusing and time-consuming. So it is essential to follow some easy tips and tricks to make sure you shop efficiently and wisely.

These are some of the tips that I follow while I go shopping which makes my life much simpler.

#1 Only buy what you want !

This is something which even I always tell myself, because when I'm at a store, shopping - it's like I'm a hungry kid at a grocery store. I go insane. I know it happens to everyone, you end up buying so many clothes, accessories which you might not need or maybe which you already have in your wardrobe. Make a list of what you want in your wardrobe and search for them when you go shopping.

Tip: What I do is, when I see something in a magazine or Pinterest that I want, I make sure I write it down somewhere along with the detailing I need and it helps me when I go shopping. (BTW, this actually works! Try it yourself)

#2 Buy your colors



This might seem confusing to some of you. But this is the best way in which you can buy the right clothes and colors for you. Knowing your color tones is very essential as this will make shopping easier and better. If you're warmer then go for warmer tones like orange,yellow,red and if you're cooler then go for colors like blue,turquoise, green.

Tip: Simplest way to find out whether you're warm or cool is asking yourself which jewelry suits you best. Gold? Warm. Silver? Cold.  (Also if the color of your veins are green then WARM, blue then COOL)

#3 QUALITY is everything.



Sometimes you think that by buying cheaper clothes you're saving money but it does not work like that. Later you might end up spending lot more in the future for the same products. Make sure you buy really good quality products when it comes to essentials like denims, tees and all wardrobe essentials. If you're paying more for it, make it worth it.

Tip: Don't hesitate to pull in between shirt or jacket lining to make sure they're properly stitched.

#4 Ask yourself "Do I LOVE it?"

If you love it then just buy it. If you don't then don't ! This will make shopping very much easier.

I've a small wardrobe and this makes me try and match to create more outfits. Always make sure you buy clothes that you will wear and just not another item with the price tag hanging in your closet. Don't buy clothes or accessories just because they're in trend, buy them only if you're comfortable in them and especially only if you love them.

How to style your basic white tee

Hey guys ! Like all you guys I too love getting dressed up or get any excuse I can to get glamed up for any occasion possible. But I know there are days when we wake up and we totally don't feel like ourselves and we just want to throw on a pair of jeans and a basic tee with sunglasses.

But I know that we still have to go to work or somewhere else on those days.

I always look for great ways to style an easy and awesome outfit without thinking too much about it. A basic white tee is so perfect for those kinda days and today I'm gonna show you guys how to style your basic white tee in many different ways,


LOOK #1

Pair the white tee with a bold print.

Pairing your white tee with a bold print makes a strong outfit. Also if you choose a muscle tee, it will give your look a tough girl vibe.

Tip: If you're wearing a loose tee then tuck in a little portion of your tee to show off your waistline.



LOOK #2

Pair the white tee with a high waisted skirt.

Tuck your tee fully this time to give more definition to your waistline. While styling your white tee go for dressy silhouette like a skater skirt.

Tip: Wear bright colors and prints to make your plain tee not-so-plain-anymore.



LOOK #3

Pair your white tee with a pair of white shorts.

To look not-so washed out, go for a statement belt like animal print.

Tip: Add gold accessories to add sheen to the look.



LOOK #4


Pair your white tee with a statement blazer and a skirt. In this way you can totally dress up the look.

Tip: Tuck your tee fully to give that formal look.

Pair your tee with a pair of denims.

This look is completely casual and cool as you can't go more basic than a white tee and jeans. Basics are great as you can add bold accessories.

Pair your white tee with high waisted wide legged trousers.

This look is great for work. As for jewelry, keep it simple and dainty.

Tip: Tuck your tee full to give more tailored look.
